We take your privacy very seriously.  Please read our Privacy Policy to see how we use your personal information, including the information you submit about yourself when making a booking.  By submitting your personal information to us, you consent to our use of that information in the ways described in our Privacy Policy, including sharing your information with owners of the holiday accommodation for the purposes of their provision of the rental services.  By visiting our websites you are accepting and consenting to the practices described in this Policy.  For the purpose of the Data Protection Act 1998 [the Act], the data controller registered with the Information Commissioner is Accredited Property Rentals of Chester.


We may collect and process all or some of the following data about you:

You may give us information about you by making a booking or filling in booking forms by phone, e-mail or otherwise.  The information you give us may include your name, address, e-mail address, phone number, nationality, special requirements and any other information needed to process a booking.  This information and any other personally identifiable information are known only when voluntarily provided by you for registration and in order for us to process a booking.


We use information held about you in the following ways:

    To process your  holiday booking/reservation including the sharing of your information with the owners of the holiday accommodation that you may reserve.  We also give you their contact details, for the same reason.  This information is not disclosed to any other third parties unless required to by law.

      We do not use any of your information for marketing purposes.

        We do not transfer your data outside the U.K.


          You have the right to know that the information we obtain is only for specified and lawful purposes and kept no longer than necessary for the purposes concerned.  You can request that any inaccuracies be deleted or amended.  The Act gives you the right to access information held about you and for us to delete any personal data if requested.


          Like most websites, we use Google Analytics  simply to track web traffic to the site so that we can continuously improve our website and our service to you.  Whilst this does not store personal or identifiable information about you [such as name and address], it does store information about your computer [Operating System, browser etc.], when and which pages you viewed and IP addresses you use to access our services.  If you require more information about Google's privacy and cookies policy, we will be happy to provide a link on request.


          We use up to date and reputable internet security protection and have automatic software updates in place.  Unfortunately, the transmission of informaiton via the internet is not completely secure and although we strive to protect your personal information any trransmission is at your own risk.

          LAWFUL BASIS

          Our lawful basis for holding your information is contract.  Our use of your data will be because of the contract between us - that is, in relation to your accommodation.
